Enjoy the sunrise and peaceful ocean views from your private balcony in this second floor condo. LV Duck is a well-maintained, semi-oceanfront condo, in the perfect location for your family vacation, just 170 feet from the nearest beach access. This unit has excellent views of the pool and ocean.

When you stay at LV Duck you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy all the community amenities of Colony by the Sea. The oceanfront pool has large sundecks with restrooms, outside showers, grilling areas and picnic tables nearby. Community tennis courts, basketball courts and playground areas are great for wearing out the kids and access to the community WiFi will keep you connected to home! In addition, there is a community coin-operated laundry facility.

Please note, the mattress size for the bunk beds is not a normal twin size; they are 5 feet in length.

There is no elevator available at this unit or building.

LV Duck is not pet-friendly.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Had a fantastic stay! I’ve stayed at several units in this community, and this one was really terrific. Great view of ocean from high seats on the balcony, equipped with a little “bar top” so you can eat overlooking the ocean! Will stay again for sure.
