Acaki Lodge, “a cool resting place” built and designed in an African traditional style in the heart of Kitgum, providing quality pristine accommodation that ensures comfort of home away from home.

Acaki promises warmth, tranquility and good food, fine wine for business travelers as well as those on retreats and holiday. “Acaki” in the local Acholi language is translated in English as “The beginning” or “The genesis” or in Greek “the Alpha”. The name is derived from its location at the entry gate in to Kitgum municipality

Acaki Lodge has 10 self-appointed grass thatched cottages and 2 safari style tents, all of which has been named after wild animals that once inhabited the region, only now in the local language
