「We used the hotels as a base for a safari tour and it was an ideal base. The location is great, being a short walk (1500m) out of Tissa. Lake Wind Resort is a beautiful heritage building that has had life injected again by new management. The team could not have been more helpful and attentive. 「Hi, the property was nice, but in the middle of the rice fields. They did not serve dinner, so you have to take a tuktuk to town. The room itself was large and beautiful, but the AC did not work and there was no fridge in the room.」

「This is a tiny gem, don't expect any luxuries but it is well worth a stay if you are in the Yala area for a safari. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and accomodate your every need. 「All in all, happy to stay here, just be prepared to do a lot of extra work to check-in. The location is incorrectly indicated on Facebook, TripAdvisor & hotels.com, and is 10km north of Tissa. Easily accessed by public transit if you've got the correct address. Make sure they know you're coming, as they were unaware I had made the reservation.
