「The hotel was very nice and it was so nice to have a swim in the pool when we arrived. The hotel was very clean and the facilities and standarts was very high. A perfect hotel to the price! The owner of the hotel was so kind and helpful, and helped us to arrange a full day safari through the hotel in Yala National Park. We were extremely lucky and had the best driver on our Safari, he knew everything about the animals, the nature in the park and knew exactly where to find them. On top of that...

「We used the hotels as a base for a safari tour and it was an ideal base. The location is great, being a short walk (1500m) out of Tissa. Lake Wind Resort is a beautiful heritage building that has had life injected again by new management. The team could not have been more helpful and attentive. 「Cabanas located in trees - you are literally sleeping outside. Different experience, but nice. Be aware that animals may enter, and the river is very close by, so maybe not so good for people who needs complete silence to sleep. Staff very helpful and nice!」
