「Hosts were excellent. Room was perfect for the 2 of us. Clean and comfortable. Quiet location with easy access to the quaint village of Terryglass. A beautiful area to explore as you work your way around Lough Derg.」

「I have to preface this with an *. I had booked the gardener's cottage but there was some sort of booking mishap and the cottage was double booked. To their credit they gave me a room in the main house which was very nice. It was technically an up-grade and there was no charge. I would have like the solitude of the cottage, but I am not upset as I had a lovely time. You should most definitely get dinner. The food was exceptional. I enjoyed interacting with the other guests and the host over...

「Okay but some things should be improved. Lights in the driveway. Hazard at night. Irritating things such as no sieve, no tea strainer, no lights under worktops in the kitchen, poor finishing to several sections of the dwelling- has an ‘unfinished or slightly slapdash’ feel about it. Light to the dining area very poor. No replacement disposal bags. Carpets rather dirty. And so on. With a small bit of care and attention it could so easily be better.」
