Staff was amazing!! Very nice and professional. The room was really clean!! The only thing I didn’t like was how load the doors to the rooms were!!! It sounded like they were slammed every time. You can also listen to other peoples conversations in the hallway from your room. There was also a school band practicing outside early in the morning like at 6am. And that woke us up. I think they were staying in the hotel too. So the walls aren’t so soundproof.

Exterior property was poorly maintained. The lighting was dim and some exterior wall lights were out. The parking area had debris like no trash was picked up. Our room smelled bad. The fridge cabinet door which hides it, would swing open by itself. I had to put a folded paper to keep it closed and not swing open. we had no room house phone, no iron, the TV required payment to watch local channels. I arrived at 5 pm. The clerk had no way (she said) of providing towels or any spray to help with the bad odor. I had to go buy a can of Lysol. She could not give me another room as she said they were completely booked. I had to go to a function which was the reason for my hotel stay, so I had no time to look for any other hotel. I was forced to accept my room. The next morning I went to the free breakfast. All they had was coffee, apples, a container with scrambled eggs and one with sausage patties. That was it. I asked other people there how their room was. All bad comments. When checking out, I got no receipt and the girls behind the counter were certainly not open to our comments and mentioned "that you never know what you are going to get when you rent a hotel room, that's why I don't stay at hotels". I did not feel like arguing. We took it as "that's what we get for booking here". They said they could not help with any % off our bill as we had booked with Expedia. Never again.

Had to be moved from the first room. Overwhelming smell of mildew and metal poking out from under the bed. Staff was amazing about the move. Second room smelled better but still had old wet smell and a metal bed frame that was too big and sticking out. Rust all over tub and light fixtures and water damage on walls. Crumbled plastic something all over the floor.

The staff was helpful and great. The property on the other hand needs serious help. Room 211 opened with the push of a finger when I used the key so I went inside and shut the door harder and with one finger on the latch it swung open. I tried shutting the door harder and had the same results. Have two videos of myself being able to push or pull the door open with one finger. I couldn’t stay in the room as my items wouldn’t be secure when I wasn’t inside and able to latch the security lock. I was moved to room 212 and upon entering the room I was overcome with the smell of mildew. I turned on the A/C and had to spray body spray to get rid of the smell of at least mask it. The A\C unit wouldnt stay cool but the fan only option would run. Before checkout I noticed that the A/C unit had been leaking water inside as the carpet I. That area was soaked (probably the reason for the mildew smell). Location is great but I would only stay here again if other hotels were booked. The TV was sitting slanted also 😁 and rust in the tub.

This is a worn out hotel. They have a lot of large work crews staying there. You can’t breakfast in the AM. Coffee was terrible both in the room and downstairs.

I didn't like this place at all, the rooms smelled like mold and they also had roaches, the front desk clerk was very rude and they sprayed air fresheners in the room trying to cover up the smell of the mold, they refused to give me a refund, never again will I even think about staying at this hotel, I don't recommend this hotel to anyone, also the lobby had a smell that gave me a headache the short time I was there

Staff walked into my room twice at 9am while sleeping and some how was able to unlatch the secondary lock. Day 2 check out in 11 am. And staff is coming in at 9 am. No privacy at all. Front staff very unprofessional and uncaring about the situation to their guest. I think La Quinta has been doing a terrible job. But I guess we get what we pd for. Dirty rusted tubs , dirty walls. Very unsatisfactory
