We had to go to the store for bottled water and shower at a friend's house. Also the bedding needed to be laundered. I emailed the owner about these problems and did not hear back.」

「We loved the location right in town , excellent! Great shops, bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. We loved the room too. About the only improvement I can think of is if you upgraded the couch to a full size one. We will book again the next time we go to Woodstock. 」

「Misleading listing. Apartment is 2 blocks from major freight train route which ran all through the night. Clearly a known noise issue with earplugs and white noise machines in the bedroom. Would have been better to know upfront this would interrupt sleep throughout the night. Backs onto a bar so band noises till 1am. Backyard is tired and not as presented.」

Would be perfect for a hiking trip (one of the best challenging hikes in the area is right at the end of the road) or a ski trip (13 min drive to Hunter Mountain). 「Our group of twelve fit perfectly in this home and had an unforgettable stay. The highlight was the hot tub with its completely unobstructed view of the mountain. Watching the slopes from the water was incredible. The indoor sauna was another favorite and made the place feel like our own private lodge.
