The cabin—Dancing Antler—is not impressive from the road, but once through the gate you see a generous yard area complete with deck and barbecue space. The yard is fenced and secure which was a concern for us, right on the highway, with two little ones. As it was once inside the gate you are quite private and unaware of traffic! Parking is ample for two vehicles.
Now for the cabin... Dancng Antler felt like being in a very high end resort. The furnishings are plush and comfortable, and the numerous amenities plentiful. All rooms had queen beds, and separate bathrooms. My daughter, son-in-law and two toddlers were perfectly comfortable in the lower section, their queen beedroom had an alcove furnished with bunk beds for the boys. It was removed enough to feel independent, with a little sitting area of its own. The remaining two bedrooms are off the very comfortable livingroom, and each have separate baths as well. The kitchen is well stocked and ready to entertain! We were there for only three nights, but would have been happy with a much longer stay!!
The only downside I would mention is that the lower rooms take more to heat, which can leave the upper section a bit on the warm side.
All in all, I would return to Dancing Antler in a heartbeat!!
