「We stopped overnight in Mount Airy as a halfway point between the NC coast and our home in Ohio. 「The house was not in a good neighborhood. Major issues: Chained dog barked all night, the washing machine didn’t work, had to call to find the linens which were stored in a file cabinet in a bedroom, showed up during check in time and cleaning staff was still there, hardly any dishes on site so forget about cooking a meal there. Place was a disappointment at best, especially for the overall cost.」

「We wanted a place to stay to shorten our drive back home from the beach and still allow us to enjoy other tourist areas. The hotels in the area are nasty and run down. Was so thankful to run into this. Walking distance to the Andy Griffith Museum. Amphitheater was basically in back yard so has like a free concert. Nothing to complain about. Great communication with owner!」
