「The bothy is beautiful, clean and comfortable with everything you need, not the biggest place but a lovely place to stay very private yet with access to the owners large garden , we travelled with dogs for a show and felt very welcome, owners are lovely and we would definitely return. 」

「Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.」

「We booked the property for our 50 th wedding anniversary . There were 5 adults and 2 children ( 14 and 12) and we stayed for three nights . The property is so spacious and the kitchen is huge. We only ate breakfast and lunch in the property so didn’t use all the kitchen facilities . Had a chippy delivery and Chinese take away which were really good. Would definitely recommend for a group booking . 」
