"Stylish room. Great food. Stunning location on the banks of Loch Rannoch. Friendly and helpful staff. There was a swimming pool, though we did not use this. A short walk through pretty woodlands leads to the picturesque village of Kinloch Rannoch."

I was only staying a night while I took part in an event up the road in Kenmore but would have been delighted to stay longer so that I could explore Killin a bit more and enjoy the comfort of this perfectly located and friendly B&B."

"This cottage was so cosy and clean.We loved the little welcome things like a big box of biscuits and 2 bottles of wine. Also there were some teabags, some milk in the fridge, lots of toilet roll, washing up liquid etc. it was so welcoming.We loved the garden with all the different places to sit and admire the nature of the ducks on the lochan, lots of different birds and we even saw some deer.It was lovely ."

"Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet mit seinen alten Möbeln und geschmackvoll gestalteten Räumen und macht somit teils fehlenden Handyempfang wieder wett. Außerdem lässt sich die Zeit super im Haus und in seiner malerischen Umgebung vertreiben. Gleich nebenan befindet sich das Loch Rannoch, worin wir so manches erholsames Bad nahmen oder einfach nur seinen Anblick genossen. Mit dem Fahrrad, zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto erkundeten wir die umliegende Landschaft und kleinen niedlichen Orte, wobei wir die vielseitige Natur der Highlands lieben gelernt haben.Wer einen Urlaub im Stile alten Schottlands und eine Auszeit von hecktischem, modernen Stadtleben sucht ist hier im Birchtreecottage genau richtig!"
