It's also a long way from the A-roads with little to do right on your doorstep. Kilberry Inn is fantastic and the cottage itself is kept very nice and has everything you need."

"We were very nervous about this property because Expedia/VRBO did a horrible job of communicating check in .. instead of telling us to contact the host all they need to stay is that keys would be available. That barge is not pretty from the outside, but amazing and unique . Great beds, view of the harbor, and big shower are just a few of the cool feature. We had ducks and swans passing by our window all evening. The location could not be better, across from two good restaurants and a bar....

The chalet itself was a perfect size for we two adults and our little dogs and we found it very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karlina in the Ellary estate office was lovely too. A beautiful location for a holiday and a charming place to stay - highly recommended. "

The paintwork and skirting boards had not been cleaned and dust was present under furniture and in all corners. The grass had not been cut and weeds were growing around the front entrance and in the paved areas. The furniture and decoration were tired and in need of updating. "

"A lovely property which had everything we needed. It was clean and well maintained with a luxurious feel- lovely big bed and high quality towels. The only thing to be aware of is that the garden isn't enclosed so we had to keep a close eye on our dog when the patio doors were open in the sunshine "

"Kennacraig Lodge was unreservedly the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The owners provided absolutely everything in their beautiful property to ensure that we had a relaxing fun filled holiday. They provided everything for our 1 yr old granddaughter, our young children and parents and grandfather. Large selection of books, games, snooker table, badminton, volleyball, crab fishing equipment and lots more. Spacious comfortable rooms and beds with tasteful artworks and furniture. We would highly commend the location and quality of this property."

"The hotel owners/hosts, Sharon and John were very welcoming and friendly including Sharon offering to drive me to a local restaurant and later coming back to collect me. The Continental breakfast was generous, varied and more than enough to satisfy and set you up for the day! When I am next in that area, I’ll certainly book to stay at the Ashbank and shall make the recommendation for others to do so too!"
