Our stay at Sugar Beach was tremendous! Our unit was clean, accessible, and the communication was great. The location on the island was ideal for easily being able to access every area of Maui. The amenities were excellent, the pool area was clean and spacious, and the access to the beach was wonderful! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our stay here was amazing! The view from the condo is beautiful and it is right on the beach. Everything was very clean and nice. The pool was also nice and clean and there are a lot of chairs by the pool or the beach to lay out. It's also just a short walk or drive to many restaurants and shops which is great!

Condo was so peaceful with a great ocean view. Close to pool and beach access. Easy walk to fresh malasadas (Sugar Beach Bakery) in the morning. Main highway is close by for easy access to other shops, restaurants and activities.

Perfect location

Our 5 night stay in Maui was at the perfect location . This was centrally located between many outings and activities in Maui . There are many restaurants and shops near by . The condo was clean , well stocked with kitchen items , beach towels , beach chairs , etc . The view of the ocean was gorgeous . We enjoyed sitting on the patio just watching the beach below . We will stay here again on our next trip back to Hawaii !

Fabulous location on Sugar Beach

The resort is really lovely with a fabulous pool/hot tub area and it is right on the best beach! Even the little pub “Sand Witch” was great with delicious sandwiches and cocktails. The apartment is very nice and we enjoyed listening to the ocean every day. The AC worked great when we needed it (which we only did a little bit in the afternoon on still days). Check-in was easy and so was parking. One of the best VRBOs we’ve ever had!

Fantastic Location

This property is well kept up, has a fantastic view and is located to easily get to everything on the island. The beach is not crowed with people, giving it a nice restful feeling. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking or outside grilling at the shared grills. Checking in was simple and quick. The late checkout option was great considering that we had a 6 pm flight. We we return we will stay here again!

This condo had a great view and was affordable! It was smaller than I expected from the photos, but was good for the two of us for 3 nights. There was not a lot of room in the closet or bedroom for suitcases and unpacking so we just lived out of our luggage there.

Paradise on the beach!

Amazing condo, beautifully decorated, all the necessities provided. But best is THE VIEW right on the water! Amazing ocean sights, sound of waves. Our lanai was our favorite spot for am coffee & evening cocktails while watching the amazing sunsets. Tons of whales sighted breaching. Nice narrow beach for walking, nice pool. Friendly folks too. Highly recommend this property. ❤️🌴

As Advertised!

This is a very nice property. The photos were “as advertised”. The check in and out was flawless. The property was very clean. Everything worked. You could throw a rock underhanded and land in the surf from the lanai. Barbecue area was well cared for and clean. Miles and miles of “sugar” sand beach to walk. Wonderful vacation. Thank you for such a perfect spot!

Right next to the ocean

While the condo itself is a bit dated compared to others we have stayed at, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, plenty of room for 2 people (with golf bags) for one week, and convenient location. We kept the patio doors open in the morning before it got too hot and enjoyed the sound of the waves. My only complaint were that the neighbors below were outside almost every night around dinner time and they were so loud (not sure if they were renters or owners). Would not prevent me from staying here again!

Well appointed and clean condo. Lots of extras. Enjoyed staying there very much. A little mix up on departure. Expected an 11:00 a.m. check out as per the listing but the cleaning staff walked in twice at 9:45 and 10:00 and told us we had to leave. Apparently the 11A check out was an error and hopefully they have fixed that on the listing. It caused us some problems. Owner was very apologetic about it though. We'd stay again.

Perfect Place for a Hawaii Vacation

We loved this condo on Sugar Beach in Kihei! It was clean and comfortable and the view was unbeatable! We spent many mornings and evenings on the lanai watching the sunrise/sunset and listening to the waves. The condo was supplied with everything we needed and we loved that there were beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and a small soft cooler we could use for our beach days. It was close to all the restaurants in Kihei and a great jumping off point for our adventures to Iao Valley State Park, Haleakala crater, and the Road to Hana. It's also only 15 minutes from the Kahului airport. There are lots of wonderful beaches a 10-15 minute drive south of the condo. Our favorites were Kamaole Beaches I and II. Like others have said, you can walk 10 minutes south on the beach from the condo to the Kihei farmers market, Ululani's shave ice, and an ABC store which has lots of souvenirs. For the price, we feel really lucky to have found this gem and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely location, everything you need

We had already been scheduled to stay at this condo for the second half of our Maui trip when we were evacuated from our resort in Kaanapali, just north of the Lahaina fire. After 60+ hours without power, internet, and cell service, we were so relieved to have a place to stay and regroup. The condo has everything you could possibly need: a well-stocked kitchen; a washer/dryer; games/puzzles/books; and even beach chairs and an umbrella (which we didn’t use, but was nice to know they were available). The pool area was nice and the pool was a comfortable temperature. We didn’t use the BBQ grills near the pool, but would have if we had stayed longer. We always saw people using them when we walked by. Beach access was right off the pool area. It felt like we had our own private beach! It was a nice walk down the beach to the farmer’s market, where you could also get shaved ice. We opted not to rent a car for our 3 night visit, but there seemed to be plenty of parking. We used Lyft to go into town a few times to shop and eat out. We highly recommend the Kihei Kalama Village for shopping. Although we only used the tourist information center, there are also a few shops located on the property as well, including a sandwich shop and a massage place. My favorite thing about the condo was the lanai. I spent several hours in the lounge chair reading, listening to the surf, and watching the waves roll in. We also ate at the table out there.

View to Die For

Amazing unit for a 3 month stay in Paradise. Incredible view of Kaho’Olawe and Molikini. Loved the pool and Dina’s bar on site. We will be back!
