Hotel was great. Really nice buffet breakfast with a view of Kigali hills. Be aware that it is located in a very busy area. Hotel room was large and well appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Just for context this trip was about the 10th to Kigali in the past 18 months during which time my colleagues have stayed at a variety of more expensive places. They are idiots!!! 2000 Downtown has the best staff, best value, biggest rooms and convenient location. Pay $30 more to stay in a glorified closet in a "boutique" or just stay in a huge room with a comfy bedin the centre of downtown with great courteous and helpful staff. Your choice

This is a very clean, quiet, and co portable place to stay in the heart of downtown kigali. They offered great pickup service from the airport and a nice breakfast spread. The room was comfortable. Only complaint is that the room was super stuffy at my 10 pm checking and therefore it never cooled down enough to sleep comfortably.
