"Stayed here for one night. At first glance, the property looked great — the rooms were clean, and the pool and gym were well maintained. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill due to a major issue. There was a mechanical failure, and the hotel lost water supply starting around midnight. I was literally in the middle of a shower when the water suddenly stopped. Calling the front desk was frustrating — they kept apologizing but had no information on when the issue would be resolved. At that point, apologies weren’t helpful; access to basic water was. The situation wasn’t isolated — the entire property was affected. Common restrooms were closed, toilets couldn’t be flushed, and cleanliness quickly became a serious concern. This went on through the night and into the morning. We were forced to check out without even being able to shower, despite having a long day of travel ahead in 90-degree weather. This is simply unacceptable. I also reached out to Expedia, but that was equally disappointing. They made no real effort to advocate for a refund and simply accepted the hotel’s refusal. Water is not a luxury — it’s a basic necessity. Charging guests for a stay without such a fundamental amenity is unreasonable. The hotel’s lack of contingency planning and failure to properly handle the situation made an already bad experience worse."

"The entire complex was perfect for our stay. The pool area had a large heated pool to relax in after some hiking, chairs for the girls to suntan in. The room was spacious enough for a 3 day stay. "

"I did not expect luxury accommodation, as I visited Sedona for a two-day trail trek. The hotel’s location was convenient—about 20 minutes from downtown Sedona. The breakfast quality was good, and I often packed some fruit and a bagel to take with me for long days of hiking. One issue I experienced was that the toilet did not drain properly. However, I did not report it to the staff because we left very early in the morning (before 6:00 a.m.) and returned late in the evening (after 8:00 p.m.). Instead, we used the lobby and the public restrooms in the park before returning to our hotel room. We finally repot the staff when we checked out. Aside from the drainage issue, the stay was fair overall and reasonable for the price."
