「When I booked the accommodation, I was not aware that the lodge was located in a forest. I was, therefore, surprised when were driving at around 10.00 pm and turn to Elk street, it was an unpaved road and we had to drive through the wilderness for 4 miles. we were unsure if we would end up at the lodge. 「Needed a room due to an extended highway closure. I’m not sure what drives the pricing of hotels in Golden, but they are expensive for what you get. Unfortunately all hotels here are priced high. Hotel was clean which is my priority. After that it is another hotel next to a highway. 」

「This motel is located between Lake Louise and Revelstoke. I went to Moraine Lake and climbed to Sentinel Pass. Golden has some restaurants including Chinese, Japanese and Korean food. Also there are several food stores and liquor shops. 」
