This Location is Awesome! This Mariners Watch villa is 200 footsteps to the beautiful Kiawah beach! Located on a premier section of Kiawah (East Beach) and is extremely close to the Night Heron Park, 5 Star Sanctuary Hotel, and brand new Nest Cafe and market. The villa is on the 2nd floor (so, no overhead noise), has cathedral ceilings (spacious feel), and has

Easy bike ride or walk from the beach to the Sanctuary Hotel's outdoor bar and dining area. It is also a big convenience if you are renting a bike from the resort to walk over to the park if you need a rental or replacement.

The villa has a premier rating (sold surface counters, hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances) along with updated cabinets, a bar area, a spacious shower, flat screen TVs, new mattresses, and new furniture. The villa sleeps 4 with a Queen sized bed in the master bedroom and a new Queen sized leather sleeper sofa in the living room.

The villa is locally managed so if you have any concerns during your stay you will receive a quick response.

Kiawah Getaway

Had a great stay in Barbara's Villa. It is warm and cozy and well stocked with everything we needed. The location is great with a short walk to the beach, bike paths right next to the building, and close enough to walk to the Night Heron Park/waterpark and the Nest Shop. Barbara is very responsive to any questions you may have, and truly a caring person, wanting her guests to have the best stay possible!

Condo coziness

The condo was cute and we loved the location. The screened in porch had a nice view over water and a bike path, so we watched bikers and even saw deer run by on the bike path one evening at dusk. We were close to both the beach and the pool. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked so we were able to prepare several meals in the condo. We brought our bikes and rode them for miles, kayaked at Mingo Point and played tennis on clay courts at the Sanctuary. We had a blast! I’d stay there again.

9 days of mostly beach time and dining (mostly out)

We've been to Kiawah over a dozen times, all but once at villas. Most were two bedroom at Turtle Point, which I kind of prefer but this location is fine. Very much updated in furnishings and clean except counter tops and floors were sticky, which we cleaned. Stairway is difficult for elderly esp. when moving in and out. A great plus is it having full Kiawah resort privileges.

The best of South Carolina on one Island

I loved my month stay on Kiawah Island. This condo is in a great location. Within steps of the beach and with a bike/walking path literally in the backyard and a 5 minute walk to Night Huron Park. I love to ride my bike and everyday was like a new adventure, riding for miles and miles mixed with daily beach walks. The beach was not crowded at all. I am not a golfer but the golf courses looked fabulous and made me wish I was a golfer. The condo was comfy and had everything I needed. My communication with the owner was awesome as she and her crew checked on my occasionally to make sure I had everything I needed. Shopping at Freshfields Village was convenient and Kiawah Medical Spa and Salon is awesome too. I recommend Ireland for massages. The people were all very friendly. It is definitely an island for those who wish to be active, not to mention exploring Charleston. I am missing Kiawah already and dreaming of going back to experience it in a different season and visit all the places I still need to visit near there. So much to do and see.

It is a nice villa. Close to the beach. All amenities were clean and fine. I would suggest replacing the sliding door to the porch as the glass is completely faded and blocks the outside view. Also perhaps get a shower head that allows one to adjust the pressure. I would also have liked a latch on the screen door in addition to the front door. Thanks.

Nice and quiet

The condo complex is nice and quiet except for the 2 days of parking lot and sidewalk repairs. They were quick and we were grateful they were not there all week. The unit could use a good more through cleaning. Pollen was out of control and porch was basically unusable as it was covered in pollen. Same with front door and screen. Unit living space was ok but could use a deeper cleaning. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Close to the beach and a very nice area.

Love Kiawah, What better way to enjoy your time at Kiawah than to be at this awesome condo. It was very nice, clean, so close to the beach, and you couldn't ask for a better location or property manager. The recommendations about the area and restaurants were spot on. The beach was so close and spectacular. Enjoyed out time and hopefully, will definitely be back.

Excellent Place to Stay

We have been going to Kiawah for 7 years and this property was excellent. We have stayed at several places around the island but seem to always love the Mariners properties because of the closeness to the ocean. I highly recommend this property because the property owner reached out to us twice to make sure we were enjoying our stay and asked if we needed anything while we were there. The place was clean, couch and bed were comfortable and there were literally no bugs at all which are typically found down in a lot of properties on the island but not this one. Definitely choose this place if you have a small family and want a good getaway with easy access to beach and other places like the nest that is a hop skip and a jump from the property!!

Lovely condo

We enjoyed our stay. Barbara was so attentive to every question we had. The bedding was comfortable as well as the furniture. The condo was clean and had everything that we needed. It was about a five minute easy walk to the beach. The only issue that some people might need to know about is that it is on the second floor and you have to climb about 22 steps up to the unit. Other than that, it was great for us.
