We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the apartment. The living room was nice and open with gas fireplace, though there were not sufficient instructions for operating the fireplace. In addition, much of the furniture was not very comfortable. One chair in particular was too uncomfortable to sit in.
Our greatest complaint with our stay was the property manager (SkyRun). The internet stopped working the second day of our stay. We reported it in the morning by leaving a message and received a text stating it was being given to a maintenance worker to address. Coming "home" in the evening, there was still no internet. A call to the office resulted in "we'll look into it." The next evening, still no internet. A call to office yielded no better result. We stayed for 3 nights and had internet for only one. The worst part was that management was not proactive in communicating where they were with resolving the issue.
In addition to the lack of working internet, the management company did not do a good job ensuring that the unit was in good working order. The following issues should have been addressed before the unit was rented to any customer: two closet doors needed repair (one closet was to the laundry along the hall to the bedroom) and the garbage disposal had a I'm-about-to-barf odor.
Another item of note, the building we stayed in had ski lockers downstairs. The key left on the counter did not open the ski locker yet customers are not to bring ski/snowboard equipment into the unit. However, even if the key did work, there may have been room for two sets of skis and poles. The unit we rented was able to sleep 8 people. We had 6 (2 skiers and 4 snowboarders). All that to say there so no way our equipment would have fit in their required lockers. These lockers were clearly designed prior to the advent of snowboards.
Bottom line, would we stay there again? Maybe, but considering the price paid, SkyRun should do a better job in managing their properties so that customers are getting what they think they are paying for.
