True Ski-In/Ski-Out Condo w/ Spectacular Slope Views, Close to Shops & Dining

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 8 with a queen bed, a twin-over-queen bunk bed with a twin trundle, and a queen sleeper sofa. It features stunning ski slope views from the private balcony. High-end finishes throughout including a gourmet kitchen, beautiful bathrooms and private laundry. This property has been updated with new paint, carpeting, and furniture in summer, 2020. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Lone Eagle is a true ski-in/ski-out complex that offers shared amenities including a pool and hot tub.

The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a flat screen TV mounted above a beautiful gas fireplace. The sofa pulls out into a queen-sized bed and extra sheets and blankets are in a closet. Just off of the living area is the private balcony where you can enjoy stunning, up-close, ski-slope views. Sit back with a warm beverage while watching family and friends come down the mountain.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The dining area comfortably seats six with three additional seats at the breakfast bar. The first of two full bathrooms is located just off of the living area and features a pedestal sink and an oversized, glass-enclosed shower with two shower heads and a bench. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries. There’s a private washer and dryer and detergent has been provided for your convenience.

The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed. It also offers beautiful slope views as well as a flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom has double sinks, a jetted tub, a separate walk-in shower with glass enclosure and a door separates the toilet area for added privacy. The guest bedroom has a flat screen TV and a twin-over-queen bunk bed with a twin trundle that pulls out from underneath.

Great location right on the slope

This building is probably the best location at Keystone, right on the main slope by the River Run gondola. Ski in ski out. Clean unit, spacious, balcony overlooking the slopes. The elevator was broken during the stay so hauling luggage up and down the steps was difficult. Besides that it was perfect.

Spacious two bedroom with all the amenities you would expect in a condo at this location. Decent deck space that would be fantastic during ski season to watch the excitement on River Run. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Sleeping 8 would make it tight, with 4 people in bedroom 2 and 6 people primarily using one bathroom, but with kids would be doable. A family of 4 or 5 would find plenty of room.

Reviewer Comments: The lone Eagle condo building in Keystone is pretty awesome, very convenient to get on and off the slopes and with a great ski locker. Our unit was pretty nice too, really nice view of the slopes. Unfortunately, we were on the fourth floor and the elevator was out of service and had been out of service since last June, that’s about eight months. Part of the reason we wanted to stay slopeside was convenient, easy in and out and schlepping everything up for stories at that altitude really put a damper on our vacation. They knew the elevator has been out for months, I feel a little deceived that they didn’t tell us at the time of booking because it would’ve changed my whole plan. Schlepping, kids, luggage, groceries, etc. up 4 flights of stairs at that altitude was more than inconvenient.

We’ve stayed at Lone Eagle before and always been impressed with the units we’ve been in. Not so this time. 😕The kitchen is sadly lacking in some basic items ie bowls including microwaveable items. The pots/pans do not all have lids. The oven door has to be pushed firmly in order to work. The water from the refrigerator comes out warm. No napkins...we had to use paper towels even with our guests. The hot water spigot on the far left sink in the master bath leaks and can’t be used. In the second bedroom, we understand trying to maximize space with the modified bunk bed. However there is absolutely no light except the overhead. Not a good configuration at all. Even a clip on light would work. The painting of the patio was a surprise to us. That said, the workers (Eric and his team) were some of the nicest people. We enjoyed talking with them and they did a great job. So all in all, not the best place we’ve stayed. We would be back at Lone Eagle....just not this unit.

Visited Keystone for a girls weekend and this condo rental was excellent. Clean. Great location. Well stocked with kitchen essentials. Box fans were provided which was a nice addition. Iron and ironing board. 2 blow dryers. Easy check-in and responsive to questions and concerns. Common fire pit was not working is the only issue we had.Hot tub at night was great!

Our family had a memorable and positive experience with this property. However, a few items that could be addressed/upgraded to make an even better experience for guests: -king size bed in primary bedroom -appliances (dishwasher, washer/dryer) excessively loud, unable to use when enjoying time in common area -smoke detector too close to oven, sets alarm off unnecessarily

What a GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

This place is even better than the pictures! The condo is spacious and very clean. It’s as a convenient ski in/ski out as you’re going to find. The village is a very short and convenient walk from the properly. The property management is great and responsive. We will be coming back for years to come!

It is a short walk to the Keystone village. The only negative was the Queen bed in the master was caved in on one side which made it difficult to sleep on. There was not patio furniture - even though picture shows patio furniture. We would have enjoyed having coffee there each morning and watching the bikers come down off the hill.

We thoroughly enjoyed the views from every window overlooking the slope. We highly recommend staying here. We plan to book here again for our next ski trip. Our only issue, which was minimal, was the coffee maker didn't work. My husband remedied this issue with a short walk into the village each morning for coffee and hot chocolate.
