Great location but poor response to some issues
This property is well situated to access the village and is a short walk to the gondola. Unfortunately during our stay there were a number of issues. First, there was no hot water in the kitchen sink. Second, the fireplace needed service and was not usable. Third, only 1 elevator was in service most of our stay and the lines were crazy. We don’t mind doing stairs occasionally but in ski boots it’s tough to go up 4 floors. And even tougher if you’re coming out of the hot tub (which wasn’t exactly hot). The management and owner reminded us how fortunate we were to have hot water in the bathrooms. Not acceptable. It’s tough if you want to prep and cook any meal and you have to run into the bathroom to wash your hands. Not to mention it’s difficult to keep the kitchen clean and sanitary. The dishwasher “worked” but it was not adequate as some of the dishes were not entirely clean. No hand soap was provided in the kitchen and that water was absolutely freezing. The owner declined to offer any refund of our very expensive stay. We have rented dozens of properties over the years and I have never encountered such an unprofessional response. I would never rent again.
