Galleon Resort Efficiency in the old town

This efficiency is located on the 5th floor of the Galleon Resort. One of only two efficiencies with both a king size bed and a balcony (resort view). This unit has a brand new kitchenette featuring new wood cabinets, granite countertop and new stainless appliances including a mini-refrigerator, microwave, 2 burner countertop range, coffee maker and dishes. The bathroom is also new with a beautifully tiled shower and vanity with granite countertop. New entertainment center features tons of storage, large flat screen cable connected TV and DVD player. For your added convenience, it comes with free wireless internet, iron & ironing board and an in-room safe.

The Galleon Resort and Marina is located at the end of Front Street, 2 blocks from Duval and 3 blocks from Mallory Square. All of the attractions, shopping, fine restaurants and famous bars are only steps away. The Galleon is at the very beginning of the 'Harbor Walk' where you can find numerous charter boats, parasailing, snorkeling and scuba diving, glass bottom boat tours and sunset sailing. This is the best location in Key West and you will not need a car. The Galleon Resort has a beautiful pool and spa, exercise room, sauna, BBQ grills, waterfront restaurant and bar. Scooter, bicycle, jet skis and boat rentals are available on-site.

Resort is peaceful and somewhat secluded, but it just a very short walk to Duval. Everything was well maintained and very clean. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful. Friendly! We loved walking, Duval Street, Mallory, etc. Everything was lively and charming. Evening lively with plenty of places to eat, listen to music, etc.

A very nice unit in a nice resort

My wife and I enjoyed this efficiency unit. It was clean and well decorated. The unit is conveniently located by the elevator and offered a small balcony space. We also appreciated that the owner covered the cost of the resort fee, which was a nice touch!

Perfect for our needs

We’ve stayed at The Galleon often so we’re familiar with the property and area and this is where we prefer to stay. We only stayed for 3 nights and this room was perfect for our needs. The shower wouldn’t turn off while we were there but maintenance arrived minutes after we called the front desk and fixed it. We would stay here again if there were only 2 of us.

Beautiful views of waterway

Great property overall. A little older but they are actively working on updates as they are currently doing construction and our closest elevator was out of service. The pool was very nice and clean, the workers were all pleasant and friendly. The tiki bar was fun and there was live music nightly!

Amazing location and amenities, room is a bit worn

We didn't really interact with the property manager but we love this area of Key West and the pool and Tiki Bar at the Galleon are fantastic! Great for sunset viewing! Staff there was terrific as well. The room is a bit more worn than the photos show but having the small kitchenette is a great plus. Wall paint, the mattress and pillows, the ceiling fan and the drawers are all showing wear and tear. Wall AC unit is loud - we love white noise so that didn't bother us as much but could bother others. All in all - great price and great location.

Great location!

The room was just as we expected. Bed was comfy, a/c worked well. The first night we only had one chair at the table but it showed up when we came back to the room the next day. The only issue we had was getting ice. There were no ice trays in the room and no ice makers to get ice from. The front desk gave us ice the first time we asked and then had ice cube trays brought to the room for us to use after that but during the time we were there it didn’t freeze all the way. Overall a very good stay and would stay again.
