Fabulous family vacation. The beach house was perfect for our family. Spacious, clean and cozy. We enjoyed spending the majority of our time outdoors in the pool and relaxing on the porch. Easy and fast communication with the host. The beach house was nicely furnished with everything we needed. The concierge assisted in planning many water sport activities and delivered provisions to the home upon our arrival. Highly recommend and will return for a future stay!

Perfect Truman Annex Getaway for Families

My husband and I stayed for a week with our twin 7-year old, my in laws, and their teenage special-needs daughter. The property manager was responsive and accommodating, and the house was super clean upon arrival. The pool was a big highlight, and our kids swam with their grandparents in it multiple times a day. Everybody had enough room, and it was nice to have a somewhat separate living space for two adults in the pool house. The location truly can’t be beat, with everything either a walk or quick bike ride away. This was our fourth family trip to Key West (and our fourth time in the Truman Annex) and this place was a true gem among all the other properties we’ve rented.

Beach House in Truman Comple Key West

Overall found the property desirable; however, there were a number of minor issues. The pool was amazing; however, I needed to clean it everyday before using it as the pool is open and there was a daily deluge of vegetable matter. This is a luxury listing so we were disappointed by the scanty supply of institutionally thin and tiny personal items and TP. Expected top notch products in a luxury listing. The location is the best possible. We could walk everywhere that anyone wanted to go in Key West. The pool deck is hazardous and needs repair. There are other minor repairs that are needed. A week of intense focus would make this property outstanding. I would gladly stay there again, despite these minor concerns.

Excellent location!

There were 8 adults in our group and this property was the perfect setup. We had plenty of room and enjoyed our porch and pool time so much! It was our first time to Key West and the proximity to everything was even better than we had hoped! The property manager responded immediately the few times that we had questions. Beautiful home and area. 5 stars!times that we had questions. Five stars!

The best of multiple KW trips

Dan, property manager, is the hardest working and most attentive manager that we EVER had the pleasure of working with in KW. Dan answered our questions about gate entry, tv access, getting cutting board and a knife block. Dan also got my overnight mail and did everything with a smile and promptly. 5 stars would be an insult to Dan.The property concierge arranged a trip to Cuba for five of us and scheduled a private boat trip around KW with an extremely knowledgeable captain, that I would highly recommend. The captain recommended a nature garden at Higgs Beach that we had NEVER discovered. We went and it was a trip highlight. We will go again in January and take a picnic lunch with wine which is allowed!

Near perfect but not

The proximity to duval street is both a blessing and a curse. Within 2+ blocks you are in the middle of everything but being so close the night time music from the clubs is in your house till past 11. In addition due to closeness of your neighbors their parties and the noise become yours as well. Otherwise have a relaxing stay.

Thanksgiving Week Stay

Our experience in this home and with the property manager were absolutely top-notch. Communication was excellent from beginning to end, and they did everything they could to meet all of our needs/wants. The house was spotless on arrival and very welcoming. The home itself was incredibly spacious and very well appointed. The main porch is huge, shaded, and very comfortable. The pool is heated and we spent a TON of time in it. When some folks were out of the pool, it was easy to carry on the conversation from pool to patio. The kitchen had everything we needed - plentiful cooking and eating utensils, lots of cookware (all in great condition), all neatly organized and easy to find. The location was perfect as well - walking distance to nearly everything and everywhere we wanted to go. Overall, if you're looking for a large, comfortable space with a pool in a convenient location, this is the house you've been looking for.

Wonderful house and location!

We loved this house! The layout is perfect for a family, particularly if adults want to hang while supervising kids in the pool. The kids swam all week while the adults enjoyed the wide porch and awesome porch hammock! The location is absolutely perfect - walk or ride to Duval, Truman Waterfront Park, our favorite restaurant Blue Heaven, and all the waterfront adventures! We hope to stay here again!

Location, location, location!

This beautiful property is as advertised. The house itself is spacious, very well maintained and very well equipped. The pool is larger than it appears and a refreshing place to relax with the family. While the home is wonderful, the location is perfect for Key West visitors. I have made several trips and walked all over Key West from different locations. This home is five minutes walk from Duval St. and 15 minute walk to the beach or the docks. You will not find a better home base for your vacation. Lastly, Brian the property manager is courteous, knowledgeable, and ultimately focused on you having an issue free stay. Brian is a great representative for the team. I cannot recommend this property any stronger than I have, you will be rewarded if you choose to trust your vacation to this property. Thank you again for a wonderful week.

Outstanding!!

This truly was the best house I have ever rented, and it’s going to be hard to find a place that measures up. Communication with the property manager was fantastic, he was prompt with replies. The house was immaculate, had a very well stocked kitchen with anything you would need for cooking. They also supplied enough toilet paper, dishwasher soap, paper towels, laundry soap for the week, we never had to buy more. They pool area was gorgeous and very secluded. The home is in a lovely neighborhood right by all of the Key West attractions, we walked everywhere. I cannot recommend this house enough!! I hope to return again. Don’t think twice, just book it!

Great Experience

From booking the property to checking out, everything went flawlessly. The property is as described. Located in the Truman Annex, the home is in a very nice neighborhood, and even though the area has a lot of homes, it’s relatively quiet. It’s also very close to everything you need/want…..food, grocery store, shops, docks, tourist attractions, Duval street, and so much more. The property manager Brian stayed in touch and seemed very nice. We took advantage of the free concierge service and made sure the home had some provisions by the time we arrived. That went flawlessly as well and the concierge people were very nice. Anything else you need can be delivered via Uber Eats or Instacart which was very nice! The house itself is just splendid. Spacious and has everything you need for a nice stay, i.e. cooking items, cups, plates, beach towels, and so much more. The pool was fabulous! We took advantage of the large porch where we spent loads of time. We even had our own personal zoo……visited by dozens of geckos, humming birds, and at least 5 different iguana’s of all sizes who like to hang around in the sun and occasionally drink some pool water. One even came up to the porch to visit several times. We just watched and left him alone until he wandered off to his next adventure! Overall this was a great experience in a great home.

Perfect multi-generation vacation home

Our stay at the Beach House was wonderful! We all enjoyed the beautiful heated pool but the grandchildren had such a great time. Of course the Truman Annex can’t be beat with the new Waterfront Park and Mallory Square, the Aquarium within easy walking distance. We all rented bikes and there was plenty of room to park them. This home is very clean and well maintained. We’ve been visiting KW for many years and this has been the most positive experience we’ve had with a rental. Brian, the property manager was terrific. He communicated very well and was just a text message away if needed. Two thumbs way up!!
