Rustic Cozy Cabin at the base of Greenhorn Mountain.
10/10 Excellent
"The cabin is adorable and has a rustic, cozy feel- as advertised. The hosts are remarkably thoughtful, attending to details everywhere around you. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hosts also had items for smores, hot cocoa, coffee, brand new toothbrushes, floss, all kinds of thoughtful additions. It seems very dog friendly and kid-friendly though we had an older teen and young adult with us and (sadly) no dog. There are games and instructions on using the large tv. Firewood was plentiful and neatly stacked. Indoor fireplace and outdoor firepits were readied for us. Even the string lights outside add an element of fun and thoughtfulness - which we enjoyed on the picnic table beside the creek. Some great hiking is not far away too. Hosts had information out on nearby hikes and places to visit and greeted us with a lovely handwritten note on a postcard with pictures of the cabin. Everything seemed very neat and clean and comfortable. We were so very impressed with how incredibly thoughtful the hosts are and how many small details they'd thought of in their most gracious hospitality. We enjoyed our stay and would love to go back!"

8/10 Good
"I would give this place a five star if nobody had to sleep in the loft. The loft was incredibly noisy as every sound from below carried and was magnified. The house is beautiful and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and even storage containers. The view is gorgeous. We enjoyed our stay and the house worked well for our needs. "
"This property was amazing. My wife, my kids, and I were so happy with our stay. It's in an absolutely beautiful area. Great access to all kinds of outdoor activities. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be booking this property again next year. The Rye/Colorado City area is perfect for our family, and the property that the house sits on was amazing for exploring."
