「This is a nice home in a very peace full quiet area. The large front porch was the best part for us because it looked over a large yard with hummingbirds, butterflies, and deer, in addition to distant views of Seneca Lake. The location is rural but still an easy drive to Watkin's Glen, Geneva, multiple wineries, creameries, and Farmer's Markets. Well stocked kitchen with lots of supplies for cooking and cleaning. 「The gathering place is a beautiful property and location. The house was very comfortable and clean. The outside deck and hot tub were enjoyable!We did go in the basement to play pool but there was an extremely strong mold and mildew smell. I really don’t see how anyone could use the bed in the basement. All of the carpet in the entire basement needs to be pulled up.」

「The property is beautiful with a gorgeous view of Seneca Lake.The property needs some tlc - the towels were provided but very poor quality. No body wash was in dispensers in showers. Unfortunately, our stay was disrupted by a mouse or mice on the first floor. We would have enjoyed more if that wasn’t occurring.First floor bedrooms were not very clean, spiders.」

Queen mattresses on full frames so mattresses wouldn't lay flat (had to modify myself for some comfort) shower curtain poorly mounted/cheap rod leaving water pouring onto bathroom floor at start of shower (excellent water pressure though!) no way to lower heat so left window open all night but no fan to move air around. Attempt to a boutique style place but only 80%. Small things but all adds up. I'd consider staying again. 」

It made for a great base camp to explore the Finger Lakes area, and we were very content to come home to it at the end of the day.
