"We were helped by a very nice an attentive gentleman at check in and check out. On the way out he requested that we leave a "good review if we can" which saddened me because it appears that he may be the only one trying to keep this hotel alive. It is horribly maintained and although it appeared to be clean the grungy atmosphere made it impossible to really feel clean. Despite the nice guy and his impossible task we wouldn't be returning."

"Amazing property and perfect location right on the water. Caught fish in the backyard, watch eagles, bears, seals and whales all from the dinner table. The kids loved fishing in the backyard and walking over to Herring Cove to fish. Property is relaxing and just all around great place to stay. Peggy was an awesome host."

"When we arrived the yard was a bit overgrown and we were worried-later they mowed and it looked fine—the inside was clean and cozy and very nice, had everything you would need to make food if you wanted. There even was coffee left for us to make in the mornings. The tv worked and had streaming options, and the WiFi worked well, though we didn’t spend much time except to sleep. We had some hiccups checking in but that was because we booked through Travelocity instead of Vrbo, so communication wasn’t seemless, and it was not the property owners fault!"

"The pictures on this listing don't do it justice. The view out the two giant picture windows was amazing! It was far enough away from downtown that you didn't feel like you were overrun with cruisers. This was the perfect size for my husband and I. The hosts were so nice and so accommodating, I can't say enough good things about this place."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was exceptionally clean, and the location was perfect. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, with a great overall energy.
