Keswick offers a wealth of great pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as popular attractions including the Puzzling Place, Derwent Pencil Museum and the Theatre by the Lake. Bassenthwaite Lake (3 miles) and the magnificent peak of Skiddaw (5.5 miles) are to the north, with other local landmarks and features including Castlerigg Stone Circle, Aira Force Waterfall, Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum, and Mirehouse and Gardens, all within 15 miles.
