Three Oaks Home Close To Everything! Two Night Summer Min!
"Everything was so clean and it was one of the best showers Ive ever had. My one and only complaint was that it was 85 degrees when we went and the pool wasn't open. All of the pool staff was bartending inside in the bar area (and even had there pool shirts on) but instead of them working the pool on a beautiful day , they staffed a dark indoor bar. Disappointing misuse of the pool for sure. Its summer and the weekend! Otherwise it was a great stay. "

"A beautiful home! Gorgeous, tasteful modern farmhouse with enough room to sleep 4 couple comfortably, with 3 large bathrooms. Parents’ suite on top level is a DREAM, and so nicely separated from 2nd fl bedrooms and a sanctuary from 1st fl entertaining. Well-appointed kitchen with all the pots, pans, utensils, bowls, glasses, mugs, cookie sheets, etc etc etc you could need. Brand new grill. Multiple types of coffee makers. Dining room is huge—also worked well as an ‘office’ for the week. Cleaning, laundry, bathroom, and pet supplies galore. Deck with table was a great outdoor dining option, and fire pit with couch and 4 chairs was a wonderful outdoor entertaining space. Our dog loved having an enclosed yard where he could chase rabbits and harass the squirrels and birds—just beware of pesky Michigan ticks, he had 2 during our stay. Driveway parking was fine for summer. Location was perfect for easy walks into the heart of adorable Three Oaks or around the neighborhood. So many cute antique shops, home goods shops, bakeries, coffee shop, restaurants (we esp loved Oaks Eatery & Tom Cat Tavern). Quick access to New Buffalo, Union Pier, and Warren Dunes. Will be back! "
"The property was just as it stated. Very easy check in and great communication before, during and after our trip, even fielding my MANY questions. We loved the pool table and the jukebox and even though we didn't use any, there are THOUSANDS of CDs and SEVERAL DOZEN board/card games for your amusement if needed. We never used the hot tub as it was too hot outside but it was located about 5 steps off of the front porch and with the woods and no visible neighbors, privacy would not have been an issue.There are only a few minor tweaks that would make this a dream for anyone. There could be some landscaping/trimming done a few times a year that would make it more pleasing to the eye and probably alleviate some bug issues (it is by the woods so we knew there would be critters and we were fine with it). Also, with it being on septic, there are times when the aroma would overtake the air and make it tough to be outside. The back extra room which is not connected to house needs a small hole repaired in the wall so it could be used as an extra bedroom at night. We did lose power 3 times in first 2 days/nights although twice it was less than a minute. The other time it was out from midnight to about 8am. It's mother nature, and I work in the utility field so I COMPLETELY understand but with a well, you cannot flush toilets if you use them as there is no backup generator. Overall, I would recommend this property to others even without upgrades. Great owners to deal with!!!"
