Motel did what it needed to for an overnight stay. Upon check-in i was upgraded to a spa suite, which was a much bigger room. Got some good advice about dinner at the local pub, and then i left my key in the room. I felt so bad calling after hours on a Friday night, but the owner was only too happy to help and quickly came back to let me in. Thanks again! Would happily stay here again next time I'm in Kerang.

Comfortable stay in an older style motel literally on the river. A great stop enroute from Sydney to Adelaide. Very quiet and plenty of dining options in town

The room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was very convenient. There was plenty of parking, and the reception team kindly waited for my late check‑in. The pool was enjoyable and perfect after a long, hot day. The amenities were great too, with tea, coffee, and other essentials provided.

traditional solid brick and extremely clean old fashioned hospitality with instant heat TCL reverse cycle was on all night last night recent rains and horrible cold weather 8 degrees good kitchen tidy bathroom white tiles were immaculate clean and no moulds grit nor grime toilet super clean loved wired broadband available not crappy wifi with 100 guests on it i was generously upgraded to a larger room with silent neighbours subcontractors on power projects the owner operator was a disciplined no early check in 2 pm is 2 pm and 10 am check out is check out no nonsense no bull only down side was that the custom bench could not help me with my laptop and other computer items so it was really cramped a suggestion would be to have a foldable table to allow connections and set up for business customers like me finally hot electric blanket new was a good touch and also finally to have 4 usb sockets for recharging my phone and usb devices were exemplary in thinking this is almost a hotel standard without the mark up great job shukurya ab sunder heh thank you it was beautfil business stayover look forward to coming back

We were bitten by bed bugs at night. Bathroom and kitchen area were aged / dirty. (Shower area) Reception staff, gentleman (potentially the owner) was unwelcoming. No friendly greeting, he spent time on his phone sending a message instead of greeting guests. Felt like we were intruding on his time instead of checking in. Reception area was dark and unkept. Would not stay here again.

I had booked a renovated front block room for 1 night stay. I arrived outside reception hours to find that I had been downgraded to an un renovated back block room. While out at dinner, the glass light shade in the shower room had fallen from tge roof and shattered over the tiled floor causing it difficult to clean to enable me to have a shower. I have since been accused of smashing the shade from the roof. There was alot of dead bugs and dirt under the bed that had never been cleaned. Both Expedia and the property accept and responsibility for the downgrade in room type claiming that I had actually been upgraded into this larger, dirty and hazardous room. Additionally there are dirty ashtrays out the front of every room, so much for booking non-smoking. Having tried to seek compensation and refund from Expedia, you get the run around from may customer service agents and the property itself stating a no refund policy. Under Australian Consumer Law this is incorrect as they must offer a refund as they did not provide the product I had purchased being a renovated room. All in all, stay here at your own risk. Kerang has alot more cleaner and safer options. Also make sure you book direct with a property as using a 3rd party booking agent like Expedia, will only cause additional obstacles if you have a genuine complaint.lastly, if you do happen to leave something in your room after departure, such as a phone charger, you will never see it again. Very poor experience.
