Beautiful older house two blocks from town. The only issues were the size of the kitchen and steepness of stairs.My 84 year old brother in law could not make it up the steps. I struggled with the suitcases as well. All else was terrific. Highly recommend, especially for middle aged folks.

We loved the Oliver Davis house! We spent a week before my daughter’s wedding there. The backyard was the perfect backdrop for a bridal luncheon. This historic home easily accommodated our family of 6.

Beautiful historic (Circa 1827) home and carriage house just a short (3 minute) walk to the shops and great restaurants in Kennebunkport, and within easy walking distance to beaches. Our family had a wonderful vacation!

Family Fun In Kennebunkport

Incredible location for a perfect pedestrian Kennebunkport experience! Oliver Davis house offers history and comfort plus a beautiful and intimate garden. We felt like we were staying at a family member’s home as it was very welcoming.

FABULOUS property!!

This house is beautiful - inside and outside! Great outdoor secret spot for morning coffee or reading; we spent a lot of time outside sitting near the soothing sounds of the goldfish pond. This house is in the best location - right off Ocean Avenue and Dock Square, you can walk everywhere. Inside is gorgeous and comfortable, kitchen has everything you need. The Carriage House is also a great place for guests.The owners have a notebook filled with information about things to do, restaurants, shops, places to visit, and very interesting information about this historic home.The owner is very accommodating, helpful with any question, easy to communicate with and is just so darn nice.

Another great prelude weekend

This is our second stay at this amazing home. Conveniently located to all the fun and warm and cozy after a long and cold day of Prelude activities. This is our favorite Kennebunkport home.

Beautiful home/perfect prelude

The house was an antique and gave beautiful vibes of classic New England. Also less than a 5 minute walk from all the Christmas action for prelude. It was a perfect home, location, and experience for our little one. Would recommend to any one looking for a prelude fairy tale. 20/10

Beautiful house in great location

We had a wonderful 9-day stay at the Oliver Davis house! The house is old but completely renovated, well-maintained and very well supplied and organized. The owner was quick to respond to some inital questions and comped us breakfast when the stove pilot ignition went out at the end of our stay.

Wonderful stay!

We truly had the best two weeks at the Oliver Davis House! It was sparkling clean on arrival, the kitchen was a chef’s dream, communication with the owners was great, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. We loved the beautiful gardens too. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful stay!

We just got back from our stay and my friends and I can’t say enough about how perfect the house and location were for our Christmas prelude getaway. The host kept us informed and everything we needed was at the house. Christmas Prelude and Kennebunkport is just magical!

Christmas prelude with friends

What a beautiful home. We were so comfortable and the location was so great. Enjoyed Christmas Prelude and didn’t move the car. Home had everything we needed. Elegance and comfort rolled together. We will be booking again.

200 Years Old and Absolutely Beautiful

This home in Kennebunkport is well equipped and historically beautiful. The location is perfect to explore the harbor without worrying about parking or driving. The entire weekend was very enjoyable.

Awesome stay

If you are looking for a truly unique place to vacation, this home checks all the boxes and then some! It is impeccably decorated, comfortable, yet elegant, and best of all, in downtown Kennebunkport. Park your car and walk to your hearts content. The Owner has thought of everything….best restaurants, short day trip suggestions and shopping ideas. This house will not be a disappointment!

Photos don't do the house justice

I originally booked this house due to it's location and was a little worried the house looked small (which given it's age was not unlikely). However I was pleasantly surprised at how much space we had. The kitchen is small but very workable and super well stocked. We cooked several meals in and had everything we needed and then some. The dining room was big for game nights, the parlour was a good size for chatting and hanging out. The bedrooms in the main house are very large. The carriage house rooms are smaller but it was nice to have a separate space for people to get away to. Even though the house is so close to the center of town it was still quiet and tranquil. Small improvements could be made like better pillows but the house was very neat and uncluttered and taken care of. I would definitely recommend the house and would go back.

Perfect week in Kennebunkport

The Oliver Davis house is just wonderful and the location cannot be beat. The carriage house is just so cute. The owner was so accommodating when the VRBO site was giving me an error message during the booking process and he responded quickly to my messages. We will definitely be back again!

Beautiful Home | Dreamy Location for Holiday Getaway

Had a wonderful family getaway! The house oozes charm and is extremely well equipped. The location could not have been better, allowing walking to everything - restaurants, bars, shops. Simple checkin and checkout. Look forward to renting here again. Perfect in every way, can't wait to come back soon!

Presidents Day week

This home is beautiful, it is even better in person. It is situated in the idyllic Kennebunkport village. Park the car and never need to drive the whole stay. The linens are gorgeously comfy and the decor is so tasteful and warm. Cannot wait to stay again!!
