We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kelso and at Jane's flat. Comfortably spacious, quiet, centrally located, with views out to Kelso Abbey and the graveyard very atmospheric. Perusing Jane's collection of vintage books, maps and slightly old fashioned paraphernalia made for pleasant evenings with a glass of wine in hand.
We would happily stay here again and indeed, look forward to our return to the Scottish Borders (a last minute travel decision ! ). So much to see and do. Lovely gentle countryside with brilliant historical castles and abbeys.
And, Hunter's, the butchers/petite bistrot to the front of the building was fabulous ! Thank you Jane.
