"Such an excellent hotel! Love the old Hawaiiana vibe—the great Lava Lava restaurant right next door, and of course, the ocean. It became one of our favorite beaches for swimming and having fun just bouncing in the waves. Morning yoga was awesome too. Great central location too—easy to get anywhere on the island. We will be back! "

"The location was great. The staff is very friendly and warm. The hotel offered beach towels, chairs, coolers, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. All the rooms are ocean front and the view was lovely. Now for the bad.... The rooms are is disrepair. Very old and outdated, very dingy and dirty. Stains on the bedding, dust and grease over all of the furniture, towel bars falling off the walls, ant traps and rat traps everywhere. The mattresses were horribly uncomfortable, with dents and springs poking through. It was uncomfortable to touch anything in the room due to how dirty things were. The AC unit had black mold growing inside (the cover was broken so we had full view of the inner workings). We were not able to use it, and my son had respiratory symptoms every time we returned to the room and all night. Our room was right in the middle of four rooms who were all traveling together. So each night they would gather and roam back and forth between the rooms, loud and intoxicated and late into the wee hours of the morning. Then, the cherry on top - the fire alarm started malfunctioning and was beeping constantly from friday until we checked out monday. And the alarm was directly outside our door. It went all night long for 3 nights. we got no sleep. We were told there was nothing they could do about it. No offer was made to move us to a different room or discount our stay or compensate us in some way for this awful experience. We will not be returning here. "

"Excellent location. Clean. Host is always amazing. Gets back 2 me super fast if i message and checks in after arrival and departure. Couldnt ask 4 a better accommodation or better host "

"Can't beat being right on the beach. Nice resort area and close to a lot of shops and restaurants. We would stay here again."

"Great location! The condo is well appointed with an amazing view, and the resort it is in, is well maintained and has many amenities if you like to hang out at the resort. We could walk to Old Town Kapa'a in 5 minutes for several bars and restaurants, an ABC store and plenty of souvenir shopping. There is a Safeway 5 min drive from resort. It was centrally located on island to hit all major attractions both North Shore and down to Waimea, Poipu & Koloa. The airport was a 15 min drive depending on traffic, of course. There was great communication with the owner at all times. We would be fortunate to stay here again when returning!!! "

"Thank you for a great stay! Location was excellent with bike rentals for the path right across the alley. On the ocean for spectacular sunrise! Had enough space for myself and three daughters so we could all have our own bed which was great! "

"The host answered questions when asked. We were a bit disappointed in the response to the condo flooding the first day of our vacation. We spent several hours the first day cleaning the condo following the flood and having to do laundry because we had to use every towel in the unit to clean up. All that was said to us was thanks for letting us know. Never heard from them again"
