Situated in a prime spot, it offered easy access to the attractions and amenities I wanted to explore during my stay. Whether it was the bustling city streets, serene parks, or trasport links, everything was conveniently within reach. As for the hotel itself, it was beautifully designed and maintained. The lobby exuded elegance and sophistication, setting a high standard for the rest of my stay. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the staff ensuring that I had everything I needed. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by its cleanliness and attention to detail. The decor was tasteful, modern and inviting atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring. One aspect that truly stood out was the hotel's commitment to granting my request for a balcony. It was such a delight to have my own private outdoor space where I could relax, enjoy a cup of coffee, and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The Ionian Plaza is in a beautiful square and within walking distance of many good bars and restaurants in Argostoli. The staff are very helpful and the rooms and very comfortable. I had a great stay again.

The hotel is centrally situated in the main square in Argostoli .The rooms are comfortable and well furnished .The staff are very helpful and pleasant .It does lack enough car parking space but it is easy to park at the port and walk .It is a great place to stay if you enjoy dining ,drinking or just people watching in the square .We would definitely stay there again

The hotel is in an excellent location for shops, bars, restaurants, turtle watching and other amenities. Also, not too far from the airport. The rooms are fine, though relatively basic, as was breakfast. There was no hotel bar. Staff are friendly and helpful. The Spa small indoor swimming pool and sauna are not freely available to residents; you have to pay 25 euros each for an hour, which we thought was way too expensive for what is on offer. There are no outside sunbathing areas, so instead we visited the nearby Mediterranean beach, which is good and not expensive for loungers and parasol. The taxi rank nearby means short journeys are easy, though due to the mountain routes longer trips are expensive. We chose to do a couple of island coach trips, instead, which were very good. People do smoke in some of the ground floor hotel areas, which some may find unpleasant; we simply didn't use those areas, preferring to go elsewhere. Overall, the hotel suited our needs as a base, but it may not suit everyone.

Overall it’s good but could do with updating, things like very small shower, very old tv (not capable of logging into Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.), air conditioning automatically cycles between on/off every 5 minutes and it’s a little noisy due to location (but tolerable), also, they have a pool but it’s only for “spa treatments” which finish at 6pm but guests still not allowed to use it!

Positive: - Amazing location in the heart of Argostoli - The room is brand new and very nice Negative: - Breakfast quality is very poor. Limited options but this is fine. However the quality is bad and this is not ok - Parking space is limited and you never find a spot. In addition my impression was that the parking was used by locals and not by hotel guests as it is open space and there is no control at allA
