Keene Cozy Cottage in the Heart of the Adirondack Mountains!

"The compact cottage was very clean and comfortable for a 1 week stay. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking your own meals. The location is terrific for adventuring in the mountains nearby. Well marked trailheads with parking are only several miles away. For bicyclists there is a good stretch of not too hilly road alongside the Ausable river from Keene to Ausable Forks or serious hills toward Lake Placid or Wilmington. Many roads have wide shoulders for cyclists. Plenty of restaurant and take out options in Keene or Keene Valley and Lake Placid and Saranac Lake aren't far."

"Absolutely beautiful peaceful gorgeous house in the woods but just a few minutes drive to Keene. The upstairs/downstairs setup is perfect for traveling with older kids (tiny kids might need help with the spiral staircase). We saw deer in the yard every day, one snake (!) and tons of tiny frogs, and went on lovely hikes right on the property. We just loved our stay here and will definitely come back!"

"This wonderful cabin was so comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The location is ideal for an easy trip to Lake Placid, Saranac and Keene/Keene Valley. A quiet and relaxing retreat that is dog- friendly with excellent hosts. A perfect weekend getaway!"

"This was a beautiful home with a lovely, wraparound porch and large sloping yard with views of white face mountain. The house was clean with nice, comfortable beds and with easy access to both Jay and Keene Valley. We had a great stay!"

"House was perfect as a home base for hiking and exploring the area! The house was great, wonderful setup for two couples so we each had our own space but had tons of areas where we could hang out together. The house was well stocked and the extras like bball and a firepit were great! Having the home owners live onsite was an asset as they were available if needed, but in honestly, we never really saw them as they give you your privacy. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area!"

"We were looking for an economical place to stay with limited notice and this worked out well. Owners run an efficient service: check in was easy (even for a late evening arrival) and they provide a convenient grab and go breakfast bag. Room was clean and well equipped (mini frig, microwave and small sink). My only complaint is the condition of the shower curtain…they need a better arrangement to avoid mildew/mold. The shower itself was satisfactory. We never did meet staff in person but the owners communicated well via text."

"Definitely a cool place! We would certainly stay there again if we are up in that neck of the woods! The host was really nice and super communicative and helpful! We left a few items there that they brought to our attention and shipped them back to us straight away!"
