「Good value」

「A man, who I never even gave my name to, came up the stairs, barefooted, and only after I had to call him from the front desk…and said “here’s your key” & walked away. We did get in late, around 2:30 am. He then called our room and had my husband get out of bed, to go pay a pet fee that wasn’t mentioned to us, nor were any amenities or instruction given upon “check in” (I.e. when the barefooted man handed a room key to a stranger) The pillows smelled like an un showered person had been sleeping...

「I was on the road from Salt Lake to St Louis and after driving 12 hours I just wanted a clean place to lie down with some heat and quiet. Great price. The manager, probably the owner, upgraded my room. Yes, it's an older building with older facilities and I don't recommend the orange juice, but it's more than enough for a Frugal Traveler.」
