This property is off grid. We use filtered rain water to provide for daily water use for showers, spa, and hand-washing. Drinking water is provided from Hawaii's natural freshwater public drinking source. Please be mindful of the water and electricity you use.
You will be surrounded by jungle so you may hear Coqui frog sounds at night and an occasional rooster or goat from nearby farms. There is no rooster farm nearby so the noise is minimal. Most perceive this sound as soothing, while others as a nuisance.
This unit does not have A/C. It features an open concept with screened windows to provide for fresh ocean air and can get hot at times during the day, sometimes cold at night (extra blankets are available).
