"Kawau Lodge is just like the pictures and more! The island doesn't fail to disappoint. Magical views from the property even with the rain and wind we experienced coming to Kawau the lodge is very sheltered. The house has everything you need to cater for all guests and the property manager and caretaker went above and beyond to answer all my question and make it a perfect night away celebrating with friends. "We spent 7 nights at Moana Cove and felt like we had been transported to a far away island, except it was just a hop, skip and a jump away! We loved walking through the bush to beaches, kayaking through the mangroves, walking through Mansion House, visiting the boat club for a meal is a must! And lazy sunny afternoons reading and watching the tide go in and out. Sharon and Rob were great hosts, giving us privacy but always incredibly helpful if we needed anything. Hope to be back!"
