「The apartment was clean though a bit smaller than it looks in photos. I would have given a much higher rating but there was a sewer issue which the owner said was a city issue they couldn’t do anything about. The smell was so horrendous I couldn’t go into the bathroom without feeling nauseous. We tried keeping the bathroom door closed and stuffing towels under the door but the smell was still noxious. 「This area of Croatia is beautiful, but we mostly enjoyed the people of the community. The unit is also very fresh and comfortable inside, while it was also a nice surprise learning the structure itself is 400 years old. Mr Karlo, who’s the contact for rental access, was polite and timely. Turns out he also drives as a taxi. His service was helpful, simple, and taxi fair with him was same price as presented by Uber app. 」
