Good hotel for short stay

Good location within walking distance to the city hall. For a short stay is good and the personal is really friendly. We were 3 and the sofa-bed was a bit to hard, for a short stay is ok but more than 2 nights requires a confortable bed.

We stayed at Hessenland Hotel by Stay Awesome, Kassel on 30–31 August. The positive side: the rooms were spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, which made our stay pleasant overall. However, we were quite disappointed with the breakfast. We paid nearly 15€ per adult, but by the time we arrived at 9:00 AM, most of the food was already finished. Even basic items like scrambled eggs took a very long time to be refilled, and one of us had to leave after only having coffee in order not to miss other appointments. For the price charged, we expected a much better and well-stocked breakfast service. Overall, while the stay was comfortable and the staff were great, the breakfast experience left us dissatisfied.

I tried to do local/distance calls from my room but did not succeed. I called the front office about this, but the connection was not clear and the receptionist's voice broke up. She had to repeat sentences several times and verbally got insulting. I informed her later that she shouldn't treat hotel guests like this, and she did not apologize!

Bra lÀge centralt i Kassel men tyvÀrr mycket buller frÄn trafik och framförallt spÄrvagnarna. VÄrt rum lÄg i samma höjd som gatubelysningen och mörklÀggningsgardinerna var inte dimensionerade för att kunna göra rummet mörkt. Hotellet saknar luftkonditionering och rummet var för varmt, fönster gick att öppna men dÄ blev det Ànnu bullrigare. Bra frukost med mÄnga val. Ett plus för att man i receptionen kunde hÀmta gott vatten och ta med till rummet.
