Very clean and the room was a good size. The staff were amazing and very polite. Close to the train station and lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.
Property is located within walking distance to the Kachiwa train station which is super convenient because you can get into the city easily. The room was clean, and comfortable for a short stay.
This is a hardcore 4 star Japanese hotel. Excellent service, location, restaurant, and amenities. They're not used to working with foreigners. Be patient and polite.
I stayed at The Crest Hotel Kashiwa from November 23–29, 2025, and had a fantastic experience. Although the hotel is located outside of central Tokyo, it’s absolutely worth it—especially if you prefer spacious rooms, which can be hard to find in the city.
The amenities were impressive. The hotel provides two bottles of water per day, in-room device chargers, convenient lighting controls on the headboard, and I enjoyed a great city view from the 15th floor. They also offer slippers and pajamas, though the pajamas didn’t fit me. The AC works well, but it does take a little time to fully cool the room.
Despite the hotel being fully booked the week I stayed, I barely saw or heard other guests, making it a peaceful and comfortable stay.
I also want to highlight the excellent customer service. Before my trip, I reached out to ask about early check-in since my flight landed at 5:30 AM. Check-in is normally at 3 PM, so we booked the night before to ensure our rooms would be ready and hotel made sure both reservations were under the same room so we didn’t have to switch rooms. They kept their promise, and when we arrived around 7 AM, the front desk had all three of our room reservations ready. The check-in process was quick and easy.
The location is very convenient. Within walking distance are multiple convenience stores—7-Eleven, Lawson, and Family Mart. The train station is only about two blocks away and is connected to a mall with plenty of major shops. From Kashiwa Station, takin
Excellent hotel and excellent staff. Great location next to the station and close to many shops and restaurants. This was our second stay here and we have booked it again.

The hotel was located in central Kashiwa, close to a little bit of everything. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars was because they listed Laundry was available when I made reservations, but there wasn’t any available onsite when I asked the front desk. We were in Kashiwa for a soccer tournament, so I wanted to have laundry at the hotel to wash my son’s uniform at the end of the day for games the following day. I had to locate laundry and parking a little bit away from the hotel.
When you're thousands of miles from home sometimes you want some level of familiarity and I think that's what makes The Crest shine -there are always two staff at the front desk, greeting you as you come and go, and the facilities are all sturdy. A classic vibe and a great view, not to mention a great value for the price. Will stay here every time I am in Kashiwa.
Excellent hotel with excellent staff, right next to Kashiwa Station, shops and restaurants. Easy to get to Tokyo, Narita and Haneda by train. We have stayed here several times when we come from the UK to visit our son, every stay has been great. Our room has a superb view over the city to Tokyo Skytree and Mount Fuji on clear days. We totally recommend the Crest Hotel Kashiwa for business and pleasure.
Nothing short of brilliant! There was no stage that the staff ever said ‘no’ to a reasonable request! This is what hospitality is about! The ‘lobby concert’ on New Year’s Eve was a touch of class in hospitality - unexpected and definitely a pleasant surprise! Keep it this way!
After being separated from our son and daughter-in-law for three years due to the pandemic travel restrictions, we were at last able to fly from the UK to visit them. We've stayed in the Crest Hotel before so we knew it was a great hotel, and this time it was just as good. We travelled around a bit so checked in and out of the Crest 3 times and each time was smooth and problem free. Our room had an impressive view over the city and out to Tokyo and mount Fuji on a clear day. Thanks to all of the staff who looked after us from the front desk to the restaurant, everyone went out of their way to look after us. We fully recommend anyone who is visiting Kashiwa for pleasure or business to stay here. It’s right next to the station with fast connections to Narita, Tokyo and Haneda. We will be back!
Check-in time was 3.00 PM. We arrived 2 hours early and the front desk manager would not check us in unless we paid an additional Yen 2,000 per person for the 2 hours despite the fact the room was ready and availble for check-in. We decided to go for lunch instead and came back at 3.00 PM to checkin. Kind of ridiculous rule. Apart from that the stay was fine.
