"We stayed one night in the Royal Suite with its own hotspring bathtub in the room. Didn’t realize it at the time of booking but it comes with the best dining seating location which gives the best view of the lush and tranquil garden, free private hot springs downstairs, and a huge suite room. "Located at the hilltop, the ryokan gave us serenity and calmness. I particularly loved the big terrace on the 1/F where we could see the city lights. Staff, Manager in particular, were extremely helpful. Dinner and breakfast were nice. "

"Excellent traditional experience, onsen is great and the traditional food sets (both breakfast and dinner) are very nice. Only problems I had overall were maintaince going on during my stay (landscaping and some light building work), and some parts of the building are showing their age (especially in the onsen and lobby areas).
