We have stayed in Kalkan several times and absolutely love the place. We knew it was possible to be safe given the current COVID problems. This was the first time we have stayed on the other side of the D400. We had a hire care for the duration of our stay which made it easier to get in and out of town.
The property has a great panoramic viw of Kalkan especially from the top floor balcony, where you can see both the town and rather unbelievably the vey beautiful long beach at Patara in the distance (great for long walks along the beach, and masks not required on the beach).
The property is a little difficult to find although the instructions, pictures and signage is obvious when you get there.
We did drive into town some evenings and leave the car there, getting a taxi back afterwards for about £3-4. The walk back in the morning is about 2K but all downhill.
We had only 2 of us so had stacks of space. The main plus was the large pool which you can easily exercise in.
The kitchen was fully equipped and the 2 outdoor BBQs were a great touch.
No real negatives other that the Aircon not quite being as efficient in the main bedroom as in the rest of the property.
The welcome pack containing coffee, tea, biscuits, crisps, milk, juice, carton, cured meats and a bottle of wine and is a nice touch. You can of course buy everything you want in any of Kalkan good supermarkets.
