Our 1 bedroom oceanfront Kauai condo, unit 111, has been with VRBO for over 10 years and has been booked almost everyday with over 100, 5-star reviews. You will find yourself right on the ocean and far from the highway! Sit and relax on your private lanai while watching the waves roll in to Wailua beach. The view is truly spectacular. Many guests have shared stories of watching whales breach on the ocean surface for hours at a time right from the lanai.

Wailua Bay View is centrally located near Kapaa by the famous Wailua River and old Coco Palms resort where Elvis filmed 'Blue Hawaii'. It is only 10 minutes from the airport and is a perfect location to base from when sightseeing on the Garden Isle. The condo is situated directly over beautiful Wailua beach and is only a short walk to Papaloa beach, a protected cove for babies and young children. Lydgate Park is less than a 5 minute drive which boasts the best playground on Kauai. In addition, the County of Kauai just finished a bike path that borders Wailua Bay View and stretches from Kealia Beach to Lydgate Park, more than 8 miles in length.

These ground floor units are just steps from the pool and barbeque area. The private lanai is complete with railing for extra security. This makes a perfect set up for families either with or without children, with no stairs to lug up suitcases and groceries. Our condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer in the unit. We also offer free wireless high speed internet, cable TV and DVD player, a king sized bed, a sofabed, a single futon and even a pack and play/crib for little ones. Beach gear such as boogie boards and beach chairs are also provided to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

The condo was perfect. Location was easy to get to everything we wanted to see. The balcony view was beautiful. We would stay here again. The owners were very responsive to all our questions and their suggestions on what to see, recommendations for where to eat!

Yeah it may be a little 70’s style, but that’s why we loved it :) For the price you cannot beat the view. Host Luke was awesome and responded to questions and such. Good location with a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Thanks for having us!

Well really enjoyed our 1st visit to Kauai. The condo was in the perfect spot on the island. Also the condo was very nice and absolutely met our needs. We'll be renting from Luke again and hopefully this specific unit. Mahalo

This place was exactly as advertised! The host has thought of everything. Kitchen was well equipped. And extras like binoculars provided. Also beach chairs, etc!! The best part is the lanai! We watched whales one morning and surfers the rest. The location is great too. Central on Kauai to go north or south. We enjoyed our stay very much!!

Our wonderful honeymoon stay

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful place. We loved waking up early drinking coffee and watching the sunrise over the ocean. Luke was a great host, my wife left her debit card and Luke mailed it home! We will definitely be back. Thank you Luke looking forward to our future adventures in your place!

Great view and wonderful location!

The view from the lanai was beautiful. Check-in and communication were great. The unit was well-equipped and clean although it's probably time for some upgrades with the living room carpet and the kitchen area. Would definitely stay there again.

The property was more than we expected. Great middle ground for anything you want to do in Kauai. It was private and quiet, just what we needed. The unit is a great location. The deck view is amazing. Watched the ocean as we ate our meals. Pool was fabulous. We will be returning !

Nice condo in a great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was in a great location with a fantastic view of the bay. There was a breakfast cafe, and a couple of good places to eat a few minutes walk away and Kapaa with shops and restaurants a short drive away. Luke & Kristi were great hosts - very responsive when we had questions. The condo was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the aircon in the bedroom worked well (although we barely used it in Feb) the washer and dryer were brand new, and the kitchen appliances all worked well. Beach towels, a cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards and so on were provided by the hosts. We were very happy with our choice and would happily stay here again.

Great spot. East coast right on the beach. Found we were central to all the stuff we wanted to do. Didn’t have to say a word to the host, in and out no problem. Would come again!

Home away from home.

Great central location from pretty much everything on the island. Listing is exactly as described. Owner leaves perfect details on what to do while you’re there for check in and out and even provides great amenities to make life easier at the home and or the beach. The lanai view tops it all off as well as the view from the pool. Will definitely come back and stay.

Great location and great view!

We absolutely loved out stay! The location can't be beat! We were centrally located on the island and right across the street from some wonderful food options. The view was outstanding! We loved just sitting on the lanai and watching the ocean waves. The pool was very convenient and parking was easy. Plenty of room for us and we were able to easily prepare meals with ingredients from some of the many farmers' markets on the island. Absolutely loved having a full size washer and dryer! The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner kept us cool while we slept. This was definitely a great deal and we're glad we booked this property!

Right on the beach!

Condo was just about as close to the ocean as you can get. Another plus is watching planes take off and land in the distance at Lihue. Kapa'a is a neat little town with lots of good food close at hand. This condo is just steps from a beautiful pool as well. Only negative, a/c is good for bedroom only, but opening up lanai doors and using all fans works pretty well, plus you get the sounds of the ocean as an extra benefit!

Beautiful location - AC in bedroom only

The Pacific is right there outside the balcony. Convenient location, can go anywhere in a short time. The weather was hot and humid, however. AC was only available in the bedroom.

Peaceful with beautiful view

This 1st floor condo was a wonderful home away from home for our week long honeymoon! We sat out on the lanai overlooking the ocean every morning. Kitchen was well equipped, although we ate out most meals. Lots of little “extras” included. Quick/easy walking access to quiet beach. Property is private and quiet. Many good local eateries and shopping centers a short drive away. The host was more than accommodating and very responsive the entire process!

Overall nice

The condo was dated, but overall we enjoyed our stay. Luke did tell me the condo is scheduled for renovation next spring. The air conditioning was great in the bedroom but the rest of the condo was very hot. The windows on the front door didn’t open so we couldn’t get a cross breeze to cool things off. I appreciate having beach towels and an umbrella provided. This condo works well if you plan to spend your days exploring the island rather than staying inside.

Great view and location

The property is tired, needs some updating. The area rug on the worn out carpet is a tripping hazard for older people. The bedroom is nice, very comfy bed. I cleaned the coffee pot so I could use it. A replacement is needed. I also cleaned the filter in the dishwasher so it could actually clean the dishes. The location close to the Coconut shopping center was great. The condo is in a very good location for traveling around the island. It was so great to see the beautiful sunrises every morning while having coffee on the lanai.

Crashing waves right out the lanai

We stayed here for 6 days. Nice condo with a lanai that overlooks the ocean. Beach is with walking distance, but it didn’t seem to be a popular beach. You can drive all over the island from there. 9 minutes from airport. The condo is nice, not brand new, but clean!! New washer and dryer. Enough cookware and dishes. We sat on the lanai a lot. AC is only in bedroom. Ceiling fan and stand fan in LR.

Fantastic location!!

You can’t beat the location of this property. Sitting on our lanai in the morning and evening and watching the waves roll in was so relaxing! The grounds are amazing, as is the pool. The landscaping was beautiful and very well maintained. We had the gorgeous pool to ourselves every evening. The actual unit is a little dated, but it was clean and had everything you could need, including beach towels and snorkel equipment. Lots of little extras that made it very comfortable. The air conditioner died during the night the first night we were there. The owner had a brand new one installed next day - on a Sunday! Communication with the owner was great, very responsive. We would stay here again - and probably will when we bring our next grandchild!
