Far enough to avoid the fast pace city life & enjoy the easy going small town atmosphere where you never have to worry about finding or paying for a parking spot but only 15 minutes away from the stadiums to watch the Chiefs & Royals & only a quick 20 min from Downtown KC!

Older apartment building that needs some serious TLC. Comfy living room and beds in both bedrooms. Couldn't cook in the kitchen - no fry pan, just pots that have been used and pervious people have burned food on bottom. Not stocked with any spices, not even salt & pepper. Shower in bathroom didn't work correctly, since most of the water flowed into the tub and not the shower head. I expected more from this VRBO and was very disappointed.

The Grain Vally experience

I gave it five stars because it’s my style. I would say if you really used to fancy five-star hotels, this would not be your place. It is not fancy, but it is fun. The actual VRBO is an attic apartment with two bedrooms in the heart of grain valley. I wasn’t expecting the convenience of the location being next to restaurants, breweries, and a coffee shop all within a two minute “safe”walking distance. The building itself is not much to look at, but the rooms are all clean and you can tell the owners take care of the place. It is also nice that the Grain Valley is smaller, but yet so close to Kansas City. Lots of fun and we intend on booking it again someday.

Great stay in a nice area

We loved the fact the home was just a block away from Main St. and took the opportunity to walk our dogs around and over the the community garden. We walked several blocks and never felt unsafe. We did have some drunk passersby’s that banged on our door around 2am so that was a little unpleasant, but no fault of the host or property.
