Only problems I had overall were maintaince going on during my stay (landscaping and some light building work), and some parts of the building are showing their age (especially in the onsen and lobby areas). Bonus note, some of the hole in the wall restaurants nearby are excellent and the rual area nearby is great for a break from the big cities (it has that fresh air countryside feel)."

"Loved this place. A little trip to a quieter part of Japan. The hotel worked very very hard to accommodate gluten free meals for my mother even after I had forgotten to tell them ahead of time. They were very sweet to help my mom experience traditional Japanese food, gluten free. The canals were lovely to tour as well. "
