Summer house with fjord view at Røsnæs

  • Perched high on the scenic Røsnæs peninsula, this charming vacation home offers a breathtaking 180-degree ocean view of Kalundborg Fjord, which you can enjoy from the lovely terrace. Through the house’s large windows, the indoors and outdoors blend together, allowing you to follow the fjord’s vibrant life all day long—from the ships gliding peacefully by to the beautiful play of light over the sea.

Inside, you’ll find a home that exudes soul, personality, and classic cottage charm. The living room’s windows bring the fjord and nature right into the cozy sofa nook, creating a special sense of calm.

The house is beautifully situated on an exciting, hilly plot, complemented by a large and inviting terrace. It’s the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee in peace, relax in the afternoon sun, or gather for long summer evenings with an unobstructed view of the water.

Røsnæs offers the iconic Røsnæs Lighthouse with views of the Great Belt, the Røsnæs Rundt hiking trail, and Dyrehøj Vingaard—Denmark’s largest vineyard. In Kalundborg, you’ll find the five-towered Vor Frue Church and historic cobblestone streets.

Fantastic location and surroundings. It was exactly what we needed in a vacation home. The cleaning service was delayed and arrived at the same time as we did. The kitchen faucet is dripping. This is starting to cause damage to the countertop—just so you know. We might consider coming back another time.

The house is lovely, and the area is lovely. Some basic items are missing: - There’s no drying rack to hang wet swimwear, towels, etc. - Basic cleaning supplies are missing, such as dish soap, a scrub brush, toilet cleaner, a broom, and a bucket, so you can do basic cleaning yourself - The duvet covers didn’t fit the duvets - Had to go through 5 menu options to speak with a staff member - Waited 6 hours and followed up numerous times, only to be told “just a moment.” Ended up having to find alternative accommodations at landfolk ’s expense - It’s unfortunate that the matter wasn’t escalated for further processing. This means I have to resubmit documents, etc., and follow up repeatedly for a response - There aren’t enough cushions for all the garden chairs From Landfolk’s perspective—truly poor customer service
