「If you have tried to get a hotel near Traverse City in any time except the dead of winter you know that the prices for hotels are bananas. I was drawn in by a very reasonable price for a weekend stay but I worried that it would be a stone cold dump. When we arrived we were pretty sure we were getting a dump. The parking lot/exterior/lobby is a bit rough. The room however, was pretty good. Comfortable and spacious. Had all the items that you wanted. We didnt use the pool but the indoor pool...

「Redecorated, remodeled and fabulous. All of the rooms have a great MCM ( mid century modern) vibe. Cleverly decorated with comfortable bathroom and bedroom. Great vintage memorabilia makes this stay a fun experience. This motel out Pops Pop Century at Walt Disney World. Truly a great value」

「Kelsie the manager was awesome!! For a small roadside Inn, it was refurbished, comfortable, and a perfect place located close to town and the lakeshore. And since it rained the night of our stay the covered porch sitting was great for us girls to catch up and relax!! Thank you so much!! 」

「Very convenient to Traverse City without the high price tag. Drive up parking. Clean comfortable older motel with friendly staff.」

「Like: Management was friendly, responsive,helpful. Property was clean. Location was prime for shopping, dining. Cabinets were stocked with plenty of glasses, plates, silverware. Dislike: The inside lighting was too dim. Maybe because of my advanced years. No bathroom exhaust fan. Would not hesitate to stay here in the future.」

「This motel is in downtown Gaylord, in walking distance to pubs and restaurants. It is affordable and clean. I prefer to stay here whenever I am in Gaylord. 」

「My son and I stayed for a long weekend at Dixon Lake Resort in room #3. We absolutely loved our time at this cozy resort. I had my coffee outside every morning, enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. We went kayaking and fished every day we were there (caught a ton of fish). The rooms had a retro style, which we loved, and it had everything we could possibly need, such as: regular sized refrigerator, microwave, stove, sink, coffee pot, tv w/cable, and a tub/shower bathroom. There is not much as far as delivery food goes but there are several restaurants up the street (if they’re open) grayling is a sleep town and closes down early. 「We had less than 1/2 a roll of toilet paper and no extra rolls were in the room. 2 tiny bars of soap, no shampoos or any other amenities. Mattresses were only about 5" thick and were like sleeping on plywood. Pillows were very thin and uncomfortable. One of the bedspreads had a big tear on the top. No fitted sheets on the bed and the sheets that were there kept coming untucked. The place is for sale. It is like they don't care anymore.」
