If you are looking for a cottage in the woods that gives you a camping feel and is a stones throw from the water and township, then this is the place for you. I absolutely loved the fireplace.

Nice private, hidden cottage close to town and a pub with Guiness on tab and good pub food. Cottage was comfortable and the host was brilliant.

A challenging property to review. It's not up to standard compared to similar style cottages we have stayed at with similar feature lists. That's despite being in a good location. Despite the positives they are insufficient for us to consider staying there again. A picture is worth a thousand so study carefully those shared. Some will find the cottages average, some will be pleasantly surprised, and some may wish to check out on arrival. The cottages are best described as quirky. The corner spa bath and dual heat pump HWS is worthy of 4 stars. The limited kit in the kitchenette and lack of rangehood/exhaust fan more 2 star. The attention to decorating internal worthy (tastes vary), but less so thr external appearance and condition (charm)? A moderate degree of agility will be useful to make the most of the rural/light woodland setting. Be prepared to remove boots/shoes at the door. Slip ons available for purchase. Note we are from a larger rural bushland property. Noted. Floor tiles left dirt on socks, there are no carpets, no mud room or aids to remove and store shoes at the door. The surrounds are dirt+grass+gravel+some paving. Hence always a source of dirt and or mud. The request seems sensible, but is less than practical vs say Japan or even an English farm house. Ladies products bin in toilet had no lid! There is no test and tag evident on any of the electrical appliances including the electric blankets on the beds. Apologies, there is no room to say more.

We had such a relaxed and lovely stay at this charming cosy cottage. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the whole place was peaceful and quiet. Short walk to the pier. We were in TimberLoo Cottage 5 (1 Queen Bed) SPA & Wood Stove.

Authentic forest accommodation in the middle of the Kalimna woods; spacious two-bedroom cottage with a jetted spa; adequate toilet and kitchen amenities but some utensils like cutleries need upgrading consistent with their high-technology keyless entry and in-room WiFi connectivity; I highly recommend this property for families with children!
