「The room we were put in on arrival was very basic and small, the 2 drinking glasses were dirty and dust on the cups, no cutlery, plates available in the room so asked for a bigger room but I had to pay €125 extra.」

「Beautiful view from our balcony and communal area round the front of the property. Very clean with great facilities and air con, the wifi was not the best so be prepared. Very steep walk up to the property which is doable if you are quite active, would recommend to have a car or motorcycle otherwise. Close to a bus stop, nice supermarket and town centre. 」

「A wonderful 10 night stay at Margi House. Bed was very comfortable. Air con was blissful. Cleaned really well daily with fresh towels. Swimming pool was exceptional. Loads of sunbeds & cleaned daily. Andreas at Margi House was exceptional. Ordering taxis and giving us lots of local knowledge The free nespresso coffee was bonus. A few bars/restaurants within easy walking that were great. 」

「This villa is in a beautiful stunning rural location but by car its less than 10 minutes from Skiathos town and this makes it a perfect retreat but still near amenities. The inside of this villa is a bit dated but it is finished in a rustic style. The hosts are lovely people who were very helpful and knowledgeable during our stay.」

「Ensure you contact the host in advance to arrange a check in time as this is not clear in the confirmation email. Even so, we were disappointed that we had to wait almost an hour to enter the room, despite emailing our arrival time, as the owner had decided to go to the beach. Otherwise, the owner was helpful. 「Unsere Auswahl orientierte sich an einem Steinhaus wie es dort im Pilio typisch ist. Wir waren sehr begeistert. Das Haus und der Garten waren gepflegt, der Vermieter sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir werden nächstes Jahr wieder dort Ferien machen.」

「Die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen, sehr zentral (bezüglich Insel) und gut versteckt, also sehr ruhig. Leider auch kaum auffindbar. Erstes Problem war, dass man mit der Buchung keinen konkreten Namen der Unterkuft erhält, noch eine genaue Adresse. Somit war es erstmal schwierig die Unterkunft zu finden, ist auch überhaupt nicht beschildert. Ohne Hilfe der Einheimischen, überhaupt nicht möglich. Nur ohne Unterkuftsname ist es auch schwierig die nötige Hilfe von Einheimischen zu bekommen. Also das...

「A beautiful house in a beautiful location. It was wonderful to be able to walk through the quiet neighborhood and hear the church bells at night. Clean house and perfect for a small group of ladies. We loved going to the local grocery stores and everyone was so hospitable. The 1 hour drive from the beaches of Pelion was wonderful.」

「The apartment was excellent - clean, comfortable and very well equipped with air conditioning and a large balcony. The location is brilliant, close to all the restaurants, shops, the harbour and buses to the beaches. Marietta, the owner, is very attentive, helpful and a lovely person who seems to go the extra mile for her guests. I would definitely stay at Polykratis again if I return to Skiathos - which is a beautiful island. 」
