「We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Log house! We were surprised it managed to sleep all 12 of us in the whare. The views were amazing, the nature, cows and sheep you could see from the balcony. Host had provided us with heaps of towels, extra blankets and an extra couch for my big family. Would suggest taking a car good for gravel and stone roads as it's like that all the way to the house but it's soo worth it! Communication with the host has made this trip so much easier! would go again. 」

「Enjoyed yesteryear charm. Excellent little touches. Be prepared to travel for Cafe's in Rawene. Great to walk the Kohukohu village up past the school to appreciate the wonderful old villas. Most were built in the 1800's. Best to purchase a concession card for ferry travel. Much cheaper.」

「Lovely welcoming hosts, Lise was prompt and attentive. We just stayed the one night but it was a very restful and relaxing stay, very private and serene garden areas to enjoy, and all just a short walk to the Kohukohu CBD : ) Very handy to the pub and shop and just across the street from the bowls club where the locals will happily welcome you for a sneaky beverage, there’s some folks there enjoying a bowl and a beer most nights during the summer nights.」
