Enjoy our brand new oceanfront pool area , hot tub and BBQ pavilion (completed Nov 2021)!

Kona Reef Oceanfront Resort is the 1st choice in vacation rentals. Unit A37 (previously the developers unit) is one of the largest units 1200 sq feet, offering the most spectacular panoramic views of the Pacific and sunsets. Brand new and beautifully decorated fully equipped kitchen, with granite counter tops with new stainless appliances, and new bathrooms. We are one of the few units with Central Air.

The space
Great for families featuring 2 bedrooms each with new mattresses, TV's and 2 new full bathrooms, one of the largest living rooms with a new 65" TV.. Brand New Kitchen with all new appliances, and a bar/beverage area. Indoor dining area/workspace with new furniture and central air condition throughout.


Attention triathletes! We are just 1 mile to the Ironman start and finish, and the 1.2 mile ironman swim turnaround is viewable from the lanai, and the run course passes infront of our complex. Great location for training, racing and viewing the the Ironman World Championships. It's everything and more you could want for your Hawaiian vacation.

Personalized keyless lock entry.

There is a 3-night minimum/10-night during Ironman and Christmas seasons.

This is a non-smoking, no pets unit, no parties or events.

This condo is so special. We enjoyed watching a beautiful sunset every day while we stayed. We also loved to watch dolphins jumping around from the lanai. Minutes to walk to nice restaurants, too. Absolutely fantastic
The condo was amazing and right on the water. The sunsets were fabulous. The beach next door was rocky so we didn’t get in but the surfers were out everyday. We could easily see yellow fish in the water so I’m sure the snorkeling would have been great but too rough for our taste. Nice easy walk into town for coffee and dinners. No need to drive unless you’re exploring the rest of the island (which I recommend).

Great views!
My family of four had a great stay! Loved the views from the balcony, especially at sunset. Kids enjoyed the pool and it never felt crowded. Walkable to restaurants and shopping but you’ll probably want to drive for a swimmable beach. The small beach area right beside the complex had a few people in the water, but it’s pretty rocky. The tide pools right in front of the complex were fun to check out.

Kona Reef
2 bedroom, 2 full bath oceanfront corner unit located on top floor of Kona Reef complex. Don't know if I would exactly describe this unit as a 'penthouse', as all the many units on the top floor of this complex would then be 'penthouses' also, but it's definitely a great location. Lanai looks directly down on ocean and tidepools, and a good view of pool area. Could use less decorative pillows everywhere (we had to keep shifting them all around and off of the bed and sofas), needs some Kleenex boxes, needs more supply of trash bags.

Fantastic Oceanside condo! The waves are so soothing, and the sunset couch shell ritual was awesome!
It had everything we needed for cooking, relaxing, ideas for activities, was quiet, peaceful, and we wished that we had extended our stay when our kids joined us instead of switching locations!
